The Why
For Saherah Khan, founder of New Horizons Impact, girls’ education is deeply personal. A Korean–Pakistani American and first-generation college graduate, Saherah earned her master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania and helped build greater stability for herself and her family. Her half sisters in Pakistan’s former FATA region, and millions of girls across the country, deserve the opportunity to shape their own futures, too. The New Horizons Impact Fund aims to help girls in Pakistan access and continue their education, creating pathways to financial independence and the ability to support themselves and their families.
